The 2020 Independence day parade will be taking place inside the parking lot of Old Bethpage Village Restoration. There is a limited number of pre-purchased tickets available that reserve a socially distant parking space inside the park, enabling families to watch a parade of vintage military vehicles from the collection of the Museum of American Armor within their vehicles designated parking spot. Tickets are $25.00 a car and must be pre-purchased in advance. No Tickets will be sold at the door. The gates will be open at 9:30 a.m. to ensure the ticket holders are at their vehicles designated parking spot in time before the event starts. All tickets holders must be here before 10:15 a.m. to ensure all spectators are in their designated parking spot. NO entry will be permitted after 10:15 a.m. to ensure a safe road way for the parade. The parade starts at 10:30 a.m. and ends at 12:00 p.m.
The following social distancing rules and guidelines for this event must be followed for ticket holders to enter the museum parking lot : Such as mask/face coverings are required and must be worn at all times during the event, all visitors must stay in the perimeter of their designated parking space,
NO picnics are allowed, NO DOGS or animals are allowed, you must be on time for arrival (Entry is not permitted after 10:15 a.m.) and there will be No refunds or exchanges. In the event of inclement weather, this event will be rescheduled to Sunday, July 5th. Due to the current health concerns, Old Bethpage Village Restoration and the Museum or American Armor still remain closed and not available to the public during this event.
